Stand Up Movement Lanka (SUML) is seeking a qualified, responsible, and motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant. Candidates with a recognized qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant practical experience in accounting and financial management, are encouraged to apply. Experience with NGOs/CSOs and donor-funded projects is an advantage.
What the employer is looking for
What you’ll do
Maintain and regularly update the organization’s financial records using QuickBooks, prepare monthly financial statements, manage project budgets, ensure timely payment of EPF, ETF, and taxes, maintain proper documentation for audits, and support budget preparation and financial planning.
What you’ll need
Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience in accounting and financial management, with knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with NGOs and donor-funded projects is an advantage.
